G’day, I’m Malcolm Holz, founder, director and producer at HOLZink – STUDIO URBAN DESIGN (SUD)

I’m a musician, artist and designer and have worked as an urban planner, designer, and developer, with 36 years professional practice primarily within property development entities – including state government land development organisations – in Queensland, Australia.

I am a Malcolm (filling) in the ‘missing middle’. A member of the jury on the 2017 Queensland Government’s ‘Density and Diversity Done Well’ design competition, I am a recognized expert in the planning, design and delivery of healthy, inclusive, diverse, and ecologically-sustainable housing solutions, in green, grey and brown –fields.
